Gun won't fire and Level X problems (aka Help! Quick!)

Alright, I just got my gun back together after is being in pieces for years.

It shot fine for a little but but I noticed a problem. The bolt would go forward WAY to far and fast. It probably would have chopped a ball anyways. Also afterwards it leaked slightly down the barrel (put in a small carrier, correct?)

Also, I took off the Nitro and airred her up a little bit later. I pull the trigger and the fun does nothing. Bolt doesn't go forward or anything. The sear hasn't been messed with. I admit that I did mill my rail to lighten it up but I don't think I modified it that it would affect the sear (I used Logic's milling plans basically but didnt take as much off).

    What could be wrong?

is the bolt is going to fast you probably need to put a longer spring in
see if that fixes your problem

Actually I put the longer spring in a forgot... that might be why it didn't fire?

I went back to medium and its worked so far. I'll have to see what happens as I test it out some more.

Using a longer spring requires more pressure to fire the gun. You will have to increase the velocity to use a longer spring.

Well its really weird... sometimes the gun fires, sometimes it doesn't. I even had my velocity up all the way with the long spring and it wouldnt fire.

For some reason the gun sometimes will work, sometimes won't. Take this morning for example. I fired around 10 shot, everything went OK. I tested the LvL X. The bolt would stick then I could reset it by pushing the trigger. Then the bolt would only go forward 1/2 way. Then it wouldn't fire at all. So I grabbed an extra shim and threw it in there. Gun won't fire at all.

Like what rb211 said the l10 with the longer spring(s) requires you to turn up the velocity in order for it to work. You can't use the stock L7 springs it will not fire and cause it to stick forward ie bolt stick. As for the shims you need to take all of them out and add them in one at a time. Put a stick in front of the bolt about a 1/4" away from the face a pull the trigger. The bolt should go forward and reset itself. If it stays forward add one shim at a time until it rests itself. Read all about it here: http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=43538

I think I figured out the problem. You know how the on/off has a delrin o-ring inside a regular o-ring? For some reason it doesnt fit properly and will sometimes push the on/off out a hair. Any advice on fixing this?
