help needed

I upgraded my old classiv valve mag over a year ago by trading the valve body in for an x-valve and at the same time purchasing the ULT and UL body. I got the mag to work for a week and then it just stopped working. I had basically pushed it to the side and never played with it again.

I would love to get the gun running again but just dont' have the time/patience to do it, if there is any in the so cal area willing to lend a hand i would greatly appreciate it. I can bring beer/donuts/pizza or the all three.

Mike, most of here can walk you through it by posting, but I would recommend reading tunning the Lvl10 and ULT guide on top of the Tech Forums.

The most common problems on the L10 are not having the velocity up enough and using the wrong spring. The L10 springs are colored and in different lenghts gold short (most common used. Most field velocity limits) red longer (you need a high velocity to get the bolt unseated) Gold longest (used on more brittle paint need the high amount velocity to get the bolt unseated. Shims are used to tune when the bolt vents and resets (anti chop). Use a squigee about 1/4" away and see if it resets w/o any shims. Add shims 1 at a time until it dose.

The ULT is putting too many shims in and it going full auto. Remove 1 at a time until it stops.
