    rebuilt rt leaking everywhere....

i spoke with a tech which helped me a bit and i rebuilt the entire valve on this classic rt i recieved in the mail a couple days ago. i have one large problem.....

it is leaking from everywhere i have arrows pointing...and maybe form even more areas. so far ive felt from the back velocity hole......i think from the back two holes(are there suppoed to be screws plugging them?) and then i can feel air coming through where the slot is for the sear(where the trigger contacts the pin..i can feel air holding the grip on my index finger.)

secondly.....anyone have a picture of the banjo bolt with o-rings installed? it looks like there are places for 3 o-rings....but when i pulled it out it only had 2 of them...so im not sure what to do there.

First remove those rail lug in the rear and loctite them back in there it NO reason you wIll EVER need to get those off again. The leak from the trigger IS the on/off orings. I ha this problem when I first got my Emag make sur you changed the oring Inside the brass assembly it screwa apart and there is a oring in there, that was my problem. the leak out the back of the valve is usually caused from the velosity being turn up too high. if the problems persist leave another messaege or IM Me.

checked the on off.....everything is perfect....and i still feel it a little by the trigger.

the back screws are in there tight and its still leaking out the back...no matter how far in or out i screw it.

          im completely lost.

well you could clean up the valve real good then pour some oil in the hole where the banjo bolt goes and air up the gun ... dont fire it though let it set for a min then depressurize it (by letting it leak down ... and then disassemble the the gun again and look for the oil slick that where your leak will be from.

if its leaking out the back of the regulator hole its most like the piston or piston oring or reg pin.

im thinking i have to bite it and send the valve in if its still covered.....this is really pissing me off. the valve is absolutly flawless...no scratches inside....the tolerances are perfect, all brand new o-rings oiled. the ppiston sits perfect, the o-ring on it is brand new and the reg pin looks perfect under a lot of looking....but perhaps that is bad....could that cause all of the leaking? everytime i fill up it costs me about 4 bucks so its just throwing my cash down the drain getting my tank refilled and then having all the air just leak out all over the place.

I have had this problem before too and found that banjo bolt is very easy to cut orings on the install and you need the ones from ag or they won't fit rite then some light grease on the orings when installing the bolt hold the valve centered on the hole too. that was the only way I had success. the third one is still in the valve if you only found two and you have to remove that before reinstalling the bolt or it will leak. also to find the leak use sewing machine oil it blows bubbles really weird but it does and fill you supply line with it before airing it up and letting it leak down like the other posting mentioned the only difference being the oil gets everywhere but the bubbles stay by the leak.

banjo is all perfect....and i obviously have all of the right o-rings since its an rt rebuild kit. anone think this could be caused by something wrong with the regulator pin? i pulled it out to clean it and everything came apart. the tech walked me through reassembly and i checked everything and its perfect.....but i have no damn clue and im ready to give up.....i have no rebuilt the thing 2 times.

i will try the oil thing tonight

I think sending it in maybe your best bet, either to AGD or Tunaman. It will probably save you aggravation and money in the long run at least until you become more familar with troubleshooting it

what could cause the gun to leak out of the back besides a velocity issue, or a banjo bolt, or the piston? could something else cause it?

not sure if i mentioned this but the gun wont even gas up....the tank will litterally leak dry very quickly if it is on for more than a second or two....it is ocmpressed air....and i havent gotten to feel a damn reatvie trigger in my life and this damn gun has been in my hands for the past week almost.
