interesting powerlet issue

okie guys im running a 6 inch piece of macro line on my pump mag and im not getting good air volume to my valve only about 6 shots per powerlet i have seen people using the mini marcolines and im curious if im giving the co2 to lil room or to much room to expand would smaller line improve the amount of shots im getting from a powerlet??? i am setting it up for ca but i would like to fine the solution anyhow

sre you running the LV10 bolt? it is slightly less efficent, but you should still be able to get about 15 shots.

what is your gun chronoed at? what kind barrel? good paint fit?

no im using the real superbolt the delrin one gets about 2 balls more out of aco2 im shooting witha freak and at 285 so???

the only thing i can think of is trying a different barrel. if you have a one peice with limited porting (like a cp) those are more efficient. I know I get about 15 more FPS on my 10" cp that my 12" boomstick on my mag.

I am assuming that you are feeding the powelet into the gun through microline or stainless in the verticle adapter right?

in all honesty i do but when ur playing im not getting any distance at all if i wait 30 secs in between yea ill get those shots but who does that in a woodsball game im getting less than 10 before the damn co2 freezes up in the powerlet

If I'm getting this right then , your saying you get 20 shots if you fire slowly but only 10 if you rapid fire ?

Depending on your setup that's probably not that far off then. When you rapid fire on a 12 gram , it's temp drops off and that causes the pressure in the 12vie to drop off respectively. On a mag needing 800psi , that will kill your shots per cart massively.

yea i know hense why im looking to move it to a baby comp air tank but i saw alot of people with a mini marco wonder if that got a few extra shots or something ?

its set up with a backbottle off of the rail using comp air....although i have a 15 degree asa with a bucket changer for powerlets still on the gun with marco running from that to the valve when the ca isnt hooked up to make it stock class but i need more shots 10 isnt good when your playing with nothing else

see if you can find a 3 or 4 oz tank. I used to get about 600 shots off of my phantom on a 4 oz.

you should be able to get a couple hundred easy on a mag.

i had a similar shot count on a classic mag with a MicroCAII 12 gram changer

i just installed a sideline Palmer's Stabilizer and now i'm getting 20 strong shots per 12 gram
