    Noob question: expansion chambers?

If I'm running HPA (3000) on a Classic AutoMag do I need an expansion chamber or are they only just for preventing liquid co2 from reaching the marker when using co2? I've seen quite a few pics with what look like x-chambers as well as without.

    Thanks in advance!

what youre seeing are gas thru grips for the most part. if you have hpa theres no use for an x-chamber or reg on a mag.

      expansion chamber and drop forward

I have a mini and a micro running classic valves because n2 fill stations are nonexistant where i live. what i have done is used a dead-on 8 stage and a dea-on Z drop forward. I have set the drop with a litle angle downward and that solved the problem. hope that helps

I didn't think one was needed with HPA. Thanks!
