Can you convert bodies at AGD?

I know the title was a little weird but in the AGD Tech Video Tom says that most people are sending there gun in so they can get powerfeed installed. So I geuss AGD either traded the old one in for a new one, or welded the part on.

I was wondering if I could get my Left PF Minimag body converted to Right PF Minimag Body for when I get a warp feed?

    Thanks...

I would assume that they are cutting the feed tube all the way down and welding a powerfeed onto the hole. That isn't something you could do going from one powerfeed to the other because the hole is offset from the center. Most standard feeds I have seen have the tube sticking out the right side of the marker, cut that off and you have the hole setup for a HL powerfeed.

Yeah I will try...but I like my Minimag body because I kept it in really good condition, I am afraid if I sell/trade I might not get the same condition...oh well, got to take chances I geuss.

You could try the way I have mine setup, its a power feed adapter installed on a partial cutdown standard feed (about 1/2" remaining). The adapter is available from Awful Ventures Paintball in Euless, TX, they have a website but you should also be able to find their phone number on the web.

The result is a power feed with two key advantages over the stock one, you can sight down the barrel and the hopper sets over the gun and not off to the side. I like it better than a standard power feed but that's just me.

The idea of just buying a power feed body off eBay is sound too.

Yeah, I think I will just try to get around the problem. I will try and see what everyone else did.

Hey, Paintmanmik, I would be pretty interested in a little more info on that powerfeed. Do you think they could do it to my Classic feed??
                I have no Sig.

i am pretty sure but not a 100%

i think what he means in that video is that when the powerfeed first came out you could send your body and some money in and they would just swap the bodies not give and or weld you a new feed on lol but i am pretty sure thats what they mean.

                        Puddleglum,

If they sell the adapter alone (I'm pretty sure they do but I bought a body and adapter with mine) I am sure that you could do the mod yourself. That is if you could bear to take a hack saw to the pretty polished body you have on your Mag.

The adapter kind of looks like the one that Pro Team products sell for the Warp Feed adapter. Bascially its a power feed that slips over the existing feed tube and has the angle and plug in the end that you then connect your elbow to.

If you are serious I can try and take a picture of mine and send it to you so you can see what you'd be getting into. I really like mine.

PTP has nice bodies. I might actually consider getting one.
