It's a tad more complicated than that as I quickly found out.
Simply having the wire is not enough. You have to hook it up correctly.
Take the grip of the frame to expose the circuit board. About halfway down there is a white connector for the wire. This is the color and location on my marker but check with the gurus at AGD just to be sure. Once the wire is connected simply run it down the circuit board compartment and out the channel in the bottom. Replace the grip and you are good to go there.
On the Warp remove the black cover on the back to expose the Warp circuit board. On it you will see two sets of jumper blocks. The one on the bottom left will have four sets of pins that look like this"
::::
The one on the right will have three sets that look like this"
..
..
..
You want the jumpers on the right for now. The top jumper is your negative connection. You put a jumper on this one if your marker sends a negative signal. The middle one is positive. Put the jumper here if your marker sends a positive signal. The bottom is to make the Warp respond to the internal sensor.
The Emag sends a POSITIVE, not a negative signal, as I had been told earlier. (Thanks Tom, for clearing that up. I think that was you anyway.)
Now, I was told to put the jumpers on the bottom and middle jumpers so it should look like this:
..
[..]
[..]
This makes the warp respond to both a trigger pull and a vibration. I chose instead to go with just the middle jumper:
..
[..]
..
so my Warp works only when I pull the trigger.
As for the other set of jumpers those shorten the dwell time or the length of time the warp spins. I cannot shoot that fast so I left all the jumpers off.
[:] is on and leaving the jumpers off or putting them thusly: [..] is also off.
It doesn't matter which jumper you put on first as they all shorten the dwell time equally. And as the Warp manual says, "you should set the timing so that at your maximum firing rate the wheel spins continuously." but like I said, I'm slow so I left all the jumper off.
I'll be testing the new setup this weekend. I want to see if different dwell time helps me avoid some of the chops I've been getting lately.Return to the free market. ALl of this is listed in the warp manual actually so yes it is as simple as hooking up the wire :) (and the emag video shows where the hook up on the board is)Taking a long needed leave of the sport to finish school and tour the country
