    X-valve question!

I just bought a x-valve for my gun. I need to know if you can run the air through an expansion chamber or will the valve loose performance.
    I have 3000psi N2 tank, x-valve, ult trigger, level 10
I am also trying to find a 4500psi tank with an output of over 950psi???
Is there anything else i could possibly do to this gun to make it better?
    Thanks!!!

so you are running your air tank-expansion-valve, ya that is fine, if anything you might get a touch more RT on the trigger because you might increase the flow into the valve (probably not much if any though).

    but ya its fine

I actually experienced a lot of shoot down when I tried to use an HPA tank with an expansion chamber. I didn't test the gun without the expansion chamber, so it could have been a different problem, but I attributed the problem to the expansion chamber. I'm sure it varies from one brand/type of expansion chamber to the other too.

o well also it probably depends if you are using a true expansion chamber (with multiple stages) or a gas through type one

Right, gas-thrus are fine, most people use them.

if u have an expansion chamber then just take a drill press to it, ya its not really an expansion chamber any mroe but its hpa so no big deal.

my set-up is a x-valve, lvl 10, shimed ULT, intelleframe, and HP maxflow on a 45/4500 tank.

I have bumped up the pressure to almost 1200psi and with the shimmed ULT you get a really freaking light trigger with a required pull that is about 1mm and never ever any shootdown or chuffing. so if you up the pressure and play around with the tuning of your level 10 and ULT you can get a marker that rips, without electronics or pnumatics.

This field that I went to for the first time last weekend the owner actually asked me to make sure that my ramping was off
