Setting ULT has made my MAG :( ??????

Setting ULT has made my MAG sad ????? Cleaned up the MAG after a fun time out at Ejam outdoors, and when to setting up the ULT...
I followed the basic step by step set up for the ULT. I was light on the trigger, and I got rapid fire; however, it was a bit too rapid.
I removed a shim, and the gun won't fire at all, or only once. I turn the air off, and then back on. One more shot (or one series of rapid fire), then nothing. No leaks.
Basically, the sear resets (I think?), and I get one shot (or a few shots), then nothing?
    What gives?

I don't have time to mess with it right now, and really, I needs some ideas?

    MAG tweakers please chime in!

I had that problem on one of my ULTs when using a LVL 10. When I switched to a smaller LVL 10 spring, the problem went away. Other people have had the same problem without such an easy solution. One guy said he oiled it like crazy and that helped. Just some ideas, hope you get it fixed.

Do you mean finger tighten, and then turn an extra 1/4 turn with the allen key? One of my teamates suggested not to tighten the field strip screw too tight?

I'm starting to see that each MAG has it's own personality?

I've made sure that everything has oil, but I can always sprtead a little more around. When you say "switched to smaller LVL 10 spring", do you mean lighter?
Which is the smallest/lightest spring in the LVL 10 kit?

I'm going to try both of these fixes tomorrow.

After dialing in the ULT, I had used up most of my air (...part of the problem). I had oiled up all the internal parts, and the gun wouldn't fire?
          Thanks for all the advice.
Most of the advice I got pointed to a "sticky" bolt. Basically the bolt wouldn't travel back far enough and reset after a shot or two. I had the shortest spring in the gun.
After reading up on tuning the lvl 10, I had a hunch that the carrier was too small. I took a look inside, and saw that the carrier was only one dot (very small). I worked my way up to two rings, and the gun seems to be working fine.
          Lots of oil.
I'm holding my breath... I need to field test the gun.
If everything holds, I will have a serious rapid firing all mechanical beast!!!!

          MAGs rule.
