    Rapid Fire

I've set my RT Pro MAG to be fairly reactive. OK, it's ill Basically, the ULT can go full auto in the sweet spot.
Do most fields consider this a full auto HOT gun? The gun still shoots one pull, one ball... it just has a magic bounce thingy.

Q: Do you get a pass on most fields with this kind of gun? I am only doing woodsball, scenario, and rec.

Taking out the shims in the ULT, at the field would probably change the relationship of the carrier in the lvl 10 set up. ?
At any rate, I'm liking the way its shooting, and I don't want to change it.

    runaway

Most fields will not allow this, and they consider it run-away.

The term "sweet spot" was pretty much coined for anyone that can't shoot fast, so they need to set high bounce settings on their trigger so they can fire full auto.

Now if this setting is not so fast it is obvious, then you can probably get away with it on just about any fields.

It's been my experience the time to find the sweet spot and maintain the correct pressure is not practical in a game, just pull the dang trigger and quit being lazy

lately when ive palyed fields have allowed RT type trigger. as long as you can control it and its not going to be consistantly 20 bps all the time it probably can get by. (if you can speed upa nd slow down the speed by adjsuting the pressure you put on the trigger i dont think it would be much of a problem)... just dont only use ur rt to shoot.

Me not lazy, me just like to fire the da balls!

The gun is still very controllable. I'll work on not short stroking, and get busy on the trigger!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll just have to keep the bounce on the DL

                now now

now there is a difference on the terms Reactive and Bounce.

Reactive means the trigger is resets itself

Bounce means it resets itself so short it immediately fires again after meeting resistance.

Go find the movies of the E-kitty being blown on with a straw - that would be bounce

...either way it's a beautiful thing

I guess I'll go with the "don't ask, don't tell" policy . As a rule, I try not to over shoot, and I don't like wasting paint.

                  Besides the MAG Air.

Side bar: At what PSI does your MAG starting getting funky?

I've noticed that my bolt gets sticky around 1200 PSI. I'd like to be able to shoot 4 pods, and a hopper (800 rounds), issue free, on one 68/4500 fill, but that may be a bit optimistic?

You might want to try to retune your L10 bolt with the shims and squigee trick. Remember the faster your RT runs away the faster you'll wear your sear.

As always, thanks for the heads-up. It takes a lot of air to tune the MAG! I 've gone through two 68ci tanks with 4000psi fills.
Unfortunately, in Manhattan, there are no paintball stores. I guess I should look for scube stores?
I will try dialing in the fine adjustments when I get more air.
