Bolt stick

I bought a used ULE body the other day, but when I put it on my 'mag, the bolt would travel about half way and then hit the ball detent which was sticking out into the chamber. I was able to fix it by putting a second o-ring on the detent, stopping it from screwing all the way in. Has anyone else had this problem or is there randomly a problem with my detent and/or body?
