New Automag Classic owner with a couple of questions

    Hello everyone.

I recently just purchased a used Automag classic off of ebay for a nice price. I have loved the automag for years, but never got around to buying one until just now.

I have gone out and played on it a few times this summer and it works great for the most part, but the classic feed is just an annoyance.

I was looking at AGD's website and I noticed that they seem to have Automag centerfeed mainbodies RAW and classic automag mainbodies with the powerfeed for a pretty cheep price on their site.

Since I don't have much expirience with the automag would anyone care to share their opinion on the vertical vs. powerfeed? I have used the powerfeed before on spyders and some other markers.

Are there any other issues I need to be aware of when purchasing a new mainbody or do I just purchase one and replace the other. Any other parts or pieces that I might need to purchase in addition to the mainbody?

Twistlock barrels are getting harder to find everyday. I really reccomend browsing for a used ULE ofr about $100. other thatn that I always liked powerfeed. so you could see down the barrel.

pffffT if he's here he's taken the first step towards never being short on barrels and parts.
all he needs is 1 or 2 good barrels anyways i haven't changed from .689 for over a year
and powerfeed works great just look for a used body for 20 bucks on here check the buy/sell/trade area labeled as misc parts, it's huge just use the search bar on the right corner and type in body then pick one

i have used both powerfeed and vertical feed and i have had success with both but i am currently looking to buy a ultra light body because of the weight savings and it is autococker threaded. you might wanted to think about if you are going to get a powerfeed which side do you shoot on. cause if you shoot right and get a body were the hopper is right it be in the way when looking down that side. with centerfeed its easier to look down both sides to see where your paintballs are going in relation to your opponent. Welcome to the automag family.
