    Questions on my Tac 1

Hey guys, I have a few questions.

    1. I read the RT manual and noticed that the operating pressure should be between 750 and 850 psi (I run a ULT/lvlX too). I am running at 750 right now. Will I see a major ROF increase? The reg on my tank is currently set at 750 psi output and I cant change it. If I have an inline reg can I increase the pressure? I think I can only decrease it...

    2. I am looking for any upgrades for the tac 1, especially other grip frames compatible with the ULT, any different triggers, etc. What can/cant I use from the store? I just dont know what is compatible with my stuff.

    3. Is it possible to upgrade to an Emag aftermarket? I know they are special order, but can I buy an electro grip or something or does it require more than that?

    4. Finally, what ROF should I expect out of my mag? I have seen some fast ones out there and I can shoot relatively fast, but I cant keep up with some of the markers out there. Any solutions?

    5. Anyone heard of www.devilsden.tv ? crazy mag there.

    Thanks guys.

    0. Welcome to AO !
    1. you may see some difference in the recharge rate of the valve. possibly allowing you to shoot quicker, but if it shoots great already, theres no problem. Also if you input around 900-1000 you can get a full-auto bounce, but its pretty much illegal on the field.

    2. Any automag grip frame besides RT's will fit on your tac-one. I hear the Logic UMF is basically the ultimate mag frame, like it says. There are also, Logic vertical frames, Intelliframes, Y-grips, Z-grips, Dye single and double trigger frames. lots of options

    3. you can buy e-mag lowers used on AO or ebay, but AGD does not sell e-mag lowers seperately new.

    4. all mech with a ULT you can expect to be around 5-10 bps. with that illegal bounce you can be around 15 or more i think.

    5. devils den is home of the devilmag, a custom made mag that i think is electro-pnuematic, if not, just pnuematic. they shoot fast and are rare and expensive.

You can only reduce the preasure by adding an inline regulator. 750 will be fine and there chances are you wont notice a diffrence. A higher preasure means you can "bounce" the trigger easier and faster.

Any trigger frame other then emag lowers will work with your setup (Emag lowers need the emag on/off), I would suggest a trigger frame directly from AGD, or an aftermarket frame from RPG (themagsmith.com), or logicpaintball.com (logic is no longer making any new frames though).

You can buy a hyperframe, or used emag lowers. You could also look up information on the spydermag conversions.

Depends on how fast and strong your fingers are.

Read the Devilmag thread in "paintball talk" before looking further into that site.

true, i forgot to mention the hyperframes and all the electric conversions you can do, like spyder frames and dragun frames. This is a good website for them.

            Hyperframes are no longer manufactured.
They were made by Centerflag. You can pick them up on Ebay or AO.org every once in a while.
If you are looking for an electric conversion, go with one of Lukes Spyder-mags or spend the money and get some EMag lowers and on/off.

maybe you guys can help. I have a spydermag and when I shoot quick around the 10th to 12th ball it looses its charge and the trigger goes limp. I wait a second or 2 it charges up and ready to go again. What do I need to do to keep the charge going without failing. I shoot pretty quick. I have a shocker and Ion with all the upgrades to keep up with my rapid fingers. I want to use the Spydermag though. Help! Do you guys think it might be the shims?
