thread seal for fittings....

I just removed the fittings from my AIR valve so that I could send it in and get a Retro. While I'm waiting for my Retro valve to come back I wanted to find out what I should use to seal the threads when I reattach the fittings to the new valve. There was some sort of orange sealant on the threads. Does anyone know what this is or where to get it?

Thanks for the links...I looked at those old threads and it sounds like the purple loctite stuff for pnuematic and hydrolic fittings would work...

However, what is the orange stuff the factory uses?
