    tac-one x-valve problem

Hey guys whats going on I just purchased an agd tac-one and ULE trigger kit, but I am having problems getting the X-valve back into the main body of the gun, after I insert the valve it stops short before i can twist it to get it in place to screw it back in. Any ideas why this is happening? Also I'm currently at 7 shims, havn't tested it yet but when i had 6 in I could fire it rapid fire for a bit but then the trigger went dead, any ideas on what I should do. Thanks for your help.

7 shims is probably making the ULT too big, and therefore it is hitting the body and not going in all the way.

I have an almost brand new RT Custom PRO built on a wingless Tac rail. I found when I adjusted my ULT for rapid fire, I had to also retune my lvl 10 (change the carrier to a different size). I played pump at EMR this last weekend, and just got air in my tanks, so I'm still in the process of tuning the lvl 10.
I expereinced the same problem with dead trigger you are having.
      1) check your air MAG's have a point where they do not function well without enough air pressure.
      2) make sure that you have the entire power tube assembly, and internals, well oiled
      3) You may have to adjust your lvl 10 with a new sized carrier, and/or shims Keep in mind, that your lvl 10 needs to break in as well.

Everyone here assures me that once you have the gun broken-in, adjusted, and well aired and oiled you will have a trouble free marker.

I do know that from the factory, my MAG shot real nice. With the ULT dialed in it's going to be even sweeter!

It is a good chance that the on-off pin is sticking out a bit and causing the assembly to fetch up. either that, or ther is too many shims in the on-off. Where did you get the extra shims? Level 10 shims are twice as thick as ULT shims.

If the gun was rapid firing and then sticking, then you probably have too many ULT shims in place. Remove one or two. Don't add more.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
