    Emag valve or X valve??

    hey everyone

I 'm pretty sure I have made up my mind on this issue, but I'd still like to hear what everyone has to say.....

    anyway

I am looking at buying (second hand) either an Emag valve or an X valve, the Emag valve is about$50 cheaper than the X valve and both coem with lvl 10 bolts. What are the real advantages and disadvantages to both of these valves???

BTW I will be adding a hyper on/off to which ever I get.

    thanks

The main difference is that the X-valve is Aluminum, making it a lot lighter. Also the look is obviously different. Other than that I'm pretty sure they both basically the same (capable of shooting the same speed and whatnot)

They are the same valve, operationally. The x-valve is aluminum and lighter.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

What about the Emax? Is it the same as an Emag valve or Xvalve? I just got one.

Emax is just the same. If youre getting the Emag valve, it might be nice to know if it could accept ULT.

The weight difference isn't all that perceptable once it's on the gun. Plus you don't have to worry about scratching up an Emag valve too much as it is stainless.

Emag valves, like ReTro and RT valves are mostly stainless, but the back outside half are alum. Unless they have aftermarket or custom parts, the front will be silver (Stainless), the back will be black (annoed alum), and the velosity adjuster will be silver (stainless again). The XValves are all alum (on the outside) and also have a stainless velosity adjuster.

They are the same,Other than the color and the three oz. more the e-mag valve weighs. Are you using a hyperframe??I would suggest either(A)you use a ULT,or(B)you use an RT on off and a 9.6v.rechargeable battery.I always used (B) myself.BPS wise the valves are exact.

So to make you mag an emag all you need is the Lowers? Meaning trigger frame, rail, and battery pack? I've been playing paintball for over 5 years but I've just recently gotten into mags.

The on/off pin is a different length, but other than that yes, an emag is pretty much just lowers. Many emags have XValves.

                            thanks for the info guys.....

you have all reinforced my thoughts on getting the Emag valve instead of the X valve.
