    Questions about SP All-American barrel(s)

    Okay, I have a 16" and 12" SP All-American barrel. I recently purchased a 14". However, the 14" is a two-piece and looks like this:

So my questions are as follows:
    1) Is this an SP All-American barrel?
    2) Are Sp All-American barrels available in both 2 piece and 1 piece?
    3) Is this a freak barrel? It doesn't say "Freak" anywhere.

Now, let's say it is a Freak back, how hard/expensive would it be to collect some freak inserts and where do the inserts fit? In the back? Or in the front before you screw in the front piece? Can I shoot a Freak barrel with no inserts?

I'm just wondering because I've been trying to get my hands on a 14" All-American for some time...I actually had a guy ship me one that ended up being a Teardrop (I think) and I had to ship it back to him. Then I found this one, negotiated a better price...and it arrives in two pieces . So I'm thinking, "What the heck is going on? What barrels is this?"

    Thanks!

The freak inserts slide in the front of the back piece. I have found complet set of cocker threaded freak kits on PBN for @ 80-90 shipped (I know its a zoo over there, but I sometimes like taking advantage of 13 yr olds who dont know sh**). As for if they make barrels that are 2 piece that are not freaks I dont know. good luck

Thats an All-American with a freak tip. Old All-American barrels were one-piece, but the new ones are all two-piece.

So if it's just an All-American two-piece, then freak inserts wouldn't work with it since it's not a Freak back. Correct?

            Correct.

That is an All American back. Freak inserts won't fit in the All American back. In 2003 Smart Parts changed the All American barrels with the intoduction of the SFT Shocker.
