    ULT on a Classic Valve

OK... B/4 you tell me I'm stupid and start heavy flaming the answer is YES I have checked all the threads on the ULT.

    So here's my problem.

I installed a ULT on my classic valve. In order to get it to fire I have to turn the velocity knob way in. When the gun gets to where it will fire it leaks bad out of the back hole. Can this be solved or should I put my efforts into an X valve that I can't afford? The reason I need the ULT btw is that I made an IONMAG but the ram doesn't have enough UMPH to push the sear on the stock valve.

Thanks in advance for the help and shame on you for the bad thoughts.

Lots of oil. The classic uses less pressure in the on/off and when the ULT oring is brand new it can stick, only fix is lots of oil until it wears in a little.

Other option is use a different oring. I searched and found some quad style orings that fit the ULT and these helped since they weren't as snug as the oring that came in it. Only problem is I had to order a huge bag just to test this out. I'm still using the ULT in the classic but switched back to the standard oring, after lots of oil and firing it works fine without a problem.

Other then the oil, you might consider getting a new reg piston assembly. The new reg piston assemblys are setup to allow for a higher preasure before venting air, mainly for the level 10 which uses a higher preasure. I would try the oil first though.
