    msv-2 baby!!!

So Pneumagger talked me into getting a MSV-2 on my pneumag instead of the msv-1 that I was currently using.

It took a bit of modding, but its complete.

Fisrt I cut the arm almost in half then I tapped a hole using a 4-40 bit in the very top of the arm.
    <a href="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/S3010004.jpg"><img src="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/S3010004.jpg" width="600" height="450"></img></a>

then I unscrewed the old sear rod and screwed it right in the top.
    <a href="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/S3010003.jpg"><img src="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/S3010003.jpg" width="600" height="450"></img></a>

    <a href="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/S3010002.jpg"><img src="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/S3010002.jpg" width="600" height="450"></img></a>

the rod actually fits right into place in the same spot as the old one! I was quite a fit to do. heres a blurry pic on how cramped it is at the top because my camera sux.

    heres a closer blurry look

    <a href="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/squeeze.jpg"><img src="http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/themagguy/squeeze.jpg" width="600" height="450"></img></a>

Its really nice. about 1mm trigger pull and i can't even tel there is weight on the trigger at all. I made a new video, but I had less than 800 psi when I made it, so I look like an idiot when I start shooting and 99% are chuffing. lol at the end of the vid I say "i think im outta air......yup" so I do think thats one will make it on here. Monday morning at 9 am im going to get my tank refilled and I'll make a vid before i go to work.

Nothing like making physics work to lighten your trigger pull! How much better is it than the MSV-1?

Aahh! Using an MSV-2 is a way around drilling a hole in the frame, i think i'll use one of those then for my intelliframe version, i was wondering where i was gonna get a 1/8" drill bit long to enough to drill through the trigger guard and into the frame. Now i know! That was a bit of an issue for me, hurrah!!

Does it seem like it will be sturdy enough to withstand lots of shots? Looks like you got a lot of leverage going there though. You will never go back to an electro after this.

Tapping a 4-40 into sheetmetal seems like it coul wear out quickly. I just drill up as high as i can for the rod hole.

I'll never go back to it. With the msv-1 though it may be ligh there is some resistance when pulling ther trigger. There is non with the msv-2. you can make the trigger long and really bouncy or really small and tight (what I did).

longi- dont drill man, even if you find a bit and drill it, theres still a chance its not perfectly straight (like mine). With the msv-1 i actually had the nail epoxied ti my trigger so it wouldnt go crooked. lol! A wrod to you though. I almost cut the arm too short to use the original rod. Be really careful when getting this thing in and take your time. It took me an hour just to shave the arm perfect so everything fit inside.

Pneumagger - yes, it seems really sturdy. I screwed the rod in tilli ran outta threads and then gave it 1/8 turn w/ a wrench. Then I shaved the extra threads off, and then for run put a dap of epoxy.

I'm sure ya'll notices that the rod was angled at the front. this is because it sits so highthat it catches the top of the trigger. I had to cut an angle to let it function normally.

Indeed, i was wondering how i was going to get straight, i'm going to go with the MSV-2, i just hope it doesn't take another 3 weeks for it to come through like it did with the MSV-1
