    o-ring wear

hey, jw how fast does your lvl 10 o-ring wear out? the one inside the carrier, and when it starts leaking should i replace it or switch to the next size down carrier? mine has been leaking in less than 4,000 rounds... it's been a hassel changing the o-ring or carrier this often. is there anything i can do to get back to the ?

    thanks guys!

I have shot over 10000 rounds and have not changed my carrier. When it was new I had to let it "break in", and had to go down a size after a few hunderd rounds. once you get the right carrier in there it should last quite a while.

I'd recommend just going one size down from where you are now. Like if you had one stripe, you'd move down to the carrier with the dot on it. But here's the thing...DO NOT REPLACE THE O-RING....use the same carrier o-ring. Once it's broken in using the first carrier, you'll develop a slight leak. Just move down one carrier size and keep playing like I said before.
