Well, got the gun today via ups(RT PRO), was a used gun but guy said it worked great. First thing that happened was that the field strip bolt fell out cause the guy had broken it off in the gun. So, I went to Lowes picked up a bolt removal kit and went home and CAREFULLY drilled a hole in the remaining piece and extracted it. I then put a new temporary bolt in so I could test the gun. I hooked the air up to it and it wouldnt shoot because all of the air was leaking out of it. When I pulled the trigger the air stoped leaking. I read the manual and it said that sometimes when you shoot one until it is out of air you have to remove the barrel and push the bolt back before it will reseal and shoot again. I tried that but it still leaked and when I finally got it to stop I shot it a few times and it started again. The only way I could get it to not leak was to rapid fire it for about 5 seconds and then stop and the leak would be stopped. But, if you fired it once or twice slowly it would go right back to leaking and then soon thereafter it wouldnt recock at all and you couldnt shoot it again until after you took the barrel off and pushed the bolt back again. So anyway, my first Automag and I cant even use it. Please HELP!!!!! ******* The air is leaking out down the barrel and the air source is a PURE ENERGY Tank preset at 800 PSI. ********
RT Pro is Leaking air BADLY. HELP!!!

Well, I would get an RT parts kit and change out all the o-rings, re-lube, and make sure I had enough pressure going into the gun.-Gig 'Em Ags!Comment

The most important thing is to determine where the leak is coming from. With what you described, I would say it is the powertube o-ring, replace that and try it again.

Unscrew the PT tip and pull out the spacer. Under that is an o-ring. Make sure that o-ring isn't broke. The spacer should be .225 or less. If it's too long, like a .235, it will leak constantly down the barrel. Get a PT spacer kit and follow the instructions on the box. Let me know how it goes after you do this.Comment
