    X-valve barrel leak

I just replaced my reg seat o-ring, reg piston, and lvl 10 bumper in my x-valve and now it leaks out the barrel like crazy on the first trigger pull. I lubed up my ULT and greased my reg piston and spring pack. I tried gold and red springs, tried every velocity combo with every input combo on my dynaflow, and every ULT shim combo. The only thing I found is that if I pused the bolt back with my finger the leaking stops. I did mange to get it to shoot but it was uncontrolable full auto. Any ideas?

Just looking at the x-valve exploded view, I dind not replace the #31 reg seat, just #34. Could that be a problem?

One more thing, when I turned the velocity all the way in with the gold spring, it did not vent any air.

I think I found it. #31 was pinched. I replace #31 and #34 again just to make sure, hopefully that will stop the leaking.

Aa barrel leak is caused by air leaking past the powertube oring. This can be casued by a carrier that is too loose or too many level 10 shims in the powertube. 1st, remove the shims. If it still leaks, go to the next tighter carrier.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

This wasnt your normal lvl 10 powertube leak, this was all 850 psi coming out the barrel. I think I fixed it though. Im going to go fill my tank soon and test it.

well the leak stopped but now the gun wont shoot. The trigger is stiff, but when I pull it it does not fire at all. Any ideas? I need this fixed by tomarrow.

The valve still will not vent when velocity is turned up all the way, is that normal?
