    Trigger rod tuning

Ok, I just got meself a Y grip for my mag(yeah!) and of course the trigger rod is off. It is touching the trigger in the trigger's farthest forward postition. It is of course causing me to have a weird trigger pull.

I tried using rubber coated pliers but it didn't work because I was afraid to grip it too hard with the pliers. What will loosen it up. Maybe hot water. I really don't know.

Use a lighter to take care of the locktite. I used one of these

A simple lighter works best, but Tim the ToolMan Taylor would oupt for a flame thrower. Well me too, but that's just me.

I was starting to wonder if it had loctite on it. Will boiling water have the same effect?

A candle also works well too.
