Tech Videos in AVI?

Has anyone had the crazy idea to put All of the tech videos in a avi/mpg file format. Yeah they would be a bear to download, but it'd be pretty cool. Especially since there are those of us who don't have TV's.

I know their free, I just hate waiting for snail mail.

Well it would be a good idea, but I think having the video is a much better idea. You can take them anywhere and have excellent (well alright ) quality. I think you should wait for the video...

I would sure like to download the Automag video in MPEG. I don't know how my vcr would handle NTSC tape and I'm too lazy to order it anyway
