    Pump Mag Question

I have been search AO for the answers to my questions with no luck maybe some can give me a hand.

I am trying to fix a pump mag for a friend of mine, and when I gas it up air leaks down the barrel and when I pull the trigger is almost like its in full auto.
He didnt get a black bumper to put behind the wave spring so we cut up a blue bumper in its place. I also noticed in some documents i found on the web for the pump kit that the spacer for the power tube is blue, the one in his gun in brass and is marked 0.220.

Do I need the black bumper or is the cut down blue one okay?
Do I need a different power tube spacer or is the brass "0.220" okay?

    I should mention I am using lvl7

        Mine had some similar issues.
First, take out the bumper and just use the wave spring.
I also had to play with the spacers in the power tube, what worked best was the old spring style (like they had before they went to the solid spacers)

Yesterday I tried getting it to fire in regular semi, I removed the wave spring and keeped the pump handle forward, I was getting the same results. My buddy has a working 68AIR valve that I am going to try and switch with this one, I think there is something with the valve or lvl7. I have never used the lvl7 just the lvl10 on my Emag, so i am on a learning curve with this.

Let me check with my buddy he might have a lvl7 spring lying around, I'll let you know.

Thanks guys, if you can think of something else for me to try let me know....
