I just started to play paintball and inherited an older 68 automag. Its in rough shape and has a home made drop and looks like its been tweaked in the past. I took it to bbt to get all the o-rings checked and all. I played with it last weekend and it used A LOT of air (400 balls and my 3000psi N2 tank was empty) the trigger is also messed up. I wanted to know if anyone could help me fix it ( new frame, trigger, valve) and keep it at a reasonable money level. thanks

thanks hopefully the stuff i've picked up will help get my gun working correctly. I also want to see if there is a way to make a 68 automag electronic? and if so how?

a hyperframe works well with the classic valve, however hyperframes can be unreliable at times in my experience, but if you can tinker with it (w/o breaking it) you should be good, but if you buy a hyperframe you will either need the center frame on off or ult.

What size tank? If its a 48ci then 400 shots is reasonable. If its a 68ci then you need to tune it up a bit.Originally posted by fatkidfrankI played with it last weekend and it used A LOT of air (400 balls and my 3000psi N2 tank was empty)...Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
