mag from hell

i am trying to help my friend with his mag. here is the setup:

x-valve with lvl 10, ult, intela frame, clasic rail with top feed body with angel feed neck, freak cocker thread.

whats happens is every time i air up the maker it fires a shot and then any time i pull the trigger not a thing happens i even tryed putting in an retro on/off (yes i put the o rings back in) i am thinking something is wrong with the lvl10 or the trigger rod.

any idea or more info needed please let me know

Mine was hangin up on the killa ball detent.
Try removing your detent and see what happens.
Remove the valve and make sure everything is oiled up too.

also try using a lighter spring i had the same problem and that was my fix.

The gun firing a shot when it gasses up seems to be somewhat common. Mine does that every once in a while. Nothing to worry about. As far as not firing, have you turned the velocity up? How many shims are in your ULT? You might need to re-tune the LVL 10. Go with the largest carrier that doesn't leak, no shims, and the gold spring until the o-ring breaks in. Then go down on the carrier size, use a heavier spring (depending on what velocity you are shooting at), and add shims if needed. Oil the heck out of the level 10 and the ULT while you are tuning them. Don't mess with the trigger rod unless you absolutely have to.

i put the x-valve on a diffrent mag and found out someting is wrong with the rail and trigger rod.

What is wrong with the trigger rod and rail?

i think that the person he got it form turned the rod way out.
