    E-Mag goin crazy

After not playing in a year, I took my gun to get aired up and when I pull the trigger, in manual or electric, it shoots full auto. The little foam part on the end of the bolt flew off, not sure if that matters, but it aint there. Is it just glued on? I need it workin again, I plan on playing next week. Thanks.

foam is definitely not the problem thats just there to be soft on t he paint,as for the full auto affect,im not really sure but the guys that do know will probably say something about switching carrier sizes or shims.

Did you put some drops of lube in first before airing up?

Alright, heres an update. My air was around 400 PSI, Id shoot a round off, and the front of the valve would start leaking. I think I solved the bounce problem, but Ive heard Mags leak when the pressure gets low, any other theories?

May be: sear/bolt wear, Bad on/off orings, lube, need new grip panels, and maybe on other problem.

Wouldnt be wear, I only used it 3 times before I had to stop for a year. Why would the grip panels be a problem? The on/off orings, are they the ones in the valve? If this fails, imma get the sum***** overhauled by my local magsmith.

A minimum of 700 psi is needed for propper operation. Also make sure your using a high output 850 psi tank. Low pressure tanks will not work. Lubing the on/off pin will also help..

Low pressure combined with lack of lubrication from sitting for a year, could definately affect the orings in the marker. If the on-off top orings leak at all due to not properly seating themselves, then you will get a full aauto effect. The same holds true for the powertube orings, which will cause leaking out the front. Add a couple of drops of recommended lubricant, attach a high pressure air tank and you should be fine.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Alright, just need to fill the tank. (Throttle 45/71) The small seals shouldnt wear out though too often should they? They were just a little dry.

The soft parts of the mag will last for many years of play.
