The intellframe is not an electronic trigger. To go electronic you need to find E-mag lowers, find a hyper-frame or do something like the devil mag or Logic frame, which im not sure they are making those (logic) anymore. Or you could build the electronics yourself or do a Pnuemag.

The retro valve you have is the same as the X-valve except the X-valve is 3oz lighter. The only thing the X-valve will give you is the ability to use the ULT on-off assembly for a lighter trigger pull.

If you want electronics, there are several options:

      - buy emag lowers
      - buy a hyperframe
      - buy other custom aftermarket electronic frame
      - make a spydermag conversion frame
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

So basically I am getting nowhere with the x-valve upgrade? I can still put the ULT kit on my gun with the rt pro valve right? I am interested in electronics, but if I can get the gun to fire consistently around 15 bps under 300fps I would be happy for a while. When I chrono'd my gun over the weekend it would jump anywhere from 250fps up to 300fps. I tried adjusting the regulator but this did not seem to help much. I just got it to stay under 290fps but did not give it much else thought becuase I was planning to replace the rt pro valve with the x valve anyways. What can I do to keep the fps at a consistent +/- 5fps as I see everyone keeps talking about? Thank again.

Check the on-off assembly. If it uses 2 orings above the on-off top, then you can use the ULT. If there is only the small oring, then you can't use the ULT without getting the on-off hole bored out.

I doubt you will get 15bps with a mechanical trigger no matter what configuration you use. The electronic frame is the only way you are going to achieve 15bps due to the extremely short and light trigger pull.

The inconsistencies in fps are usually attributed to inconsistent sized paint. Use a barrel id larger than your largest paintball and it will make it much more consistent. If you can use good paint, then a barrel id to match that paint will give you the best consistency and efficiency.

Awesome! Thanks a lot on that one. I was using cheap paint so hopefully that was my problem. This weekend I will buy some premium paint and chrono it again. I ordered the ULT (trigger) kit today so I will see how it plays once I get it installed. I am still wondering if the trigger modification will work with the x valve when I install it. I'll post back what happens. Thanks

The ULT will definately work on the xvalve.

                  Deadlywind

So I just went to the deadlywind site and saw what they did to a mag with an x valve and hAir trigger upgrade. I got weak in the knees. No computer, 16bps, no reactivity. Check out the video. If possible, this will become my gun!
