    Sear doesn't return

    Here is my setup:

AM/MM rail ( it was anodized by myself, so the tolerances might be a hair off)
    ULE body
    Emag valve
    LVL 7 bolt
    ULT kit
    Stock CF single trigger frame

I gas up my gun and it fires fine for a few shots. Then after 6 or 7 the sear doesn't return. I'm not sure if this is related, but I had to calibrate my sear myself, so I don't know if it's that or not.

I feel certain that this isn't a very complicated problem, but I'm no mag tech. Anyone out there know what's going on?

Have you checked over a chrono it might be the velocity is low .... does the sear move freely the ult does not have alot of return force.

I tried adjustong the velocity. That didn't work.

I'm starting to think its the sear rod... I'm going to try adjusting it tomarrow.

Is your bolt spring longer than the bolt? If it is as long or shorter replace it.

What do you mean "calibrate" your sear?

With the marker aired up, you should have a space between the back of the trigger and the end of the trigger rod.

By calibrate I mean adjust. The sear rod got unscrewed and I hate to re-adjust the length.

you might have got this fixed already, but it sounds like your field strip screw is too loose. tighten it with an allen wrench.... the ULE bodies flex, so the torque on the front and back screws have to be pretty darn close. a good way to get this right (and to prove that what i'm talking about is the problem) is to shoot the marker until the sear doesnt lock up (like you described)... once that happens use the allen wrench to tighten the field strip screw until the sear makes a clicking sound as it lock up the bolt... if i'm right about your problem, you'll understand what i mean.. if i'm not, good luck.
