    X Valve Problems

I am having major problems with my XValve and LVL X. I have tried just about every possible carrier and shim possibility and still no good results. My best results is with the .5 carrier and 2 shims and the stock spring. I can pressure it up and no leaks down the barrel, I pull the trigger and it fires upon pulling and releasing of full auto if you hold the trigger. I can add more shims but it does the same thing. I can go up to the 1.0 carrier and my bolt will not stay pushed back and it constanly leaks down the barrel. I can turn my velocity all the way down and turn it back up slowly and it leaks down the barrel before it engages the on/off. I tried my brothers lvl 10 with the exact same setup that he has on his xvalve on my valve and and it constanly leaks down the barrel. We put his back together and tried it with my bolt and stock spring and it worked fine. I can try a harder spring but I have to turn the velocity all the way up and it still goes full auto. I tried my valve in his gun thinking it might be my sear but it did the same thing. I tried putting a level seven bolt and powertube spacer off of my pneumag and it just constantly leaked down the barrel. Put it back on my pneumag and it worked fine. Is there a possibility that something is wrong with the valve itself.

    Any help is appreciated.

      X Valve

Its going full auto if you hold the trigger down. But you can pull it and let it go, it shoots when pulled and again when released. It has the rt on/off in it.

is it kicking back like bounce or is just the trigger staying back?

check that the on off is in correctly, if u dont have 2 orings on the top side of the on off (1 larger oring with 1 smaller on inside of it, the pin of the on/off goes through the smaller one) it will do that.

It has the two orings on the top of the on/off. It dont really feel like the trigger is going reactive. I thought it might be the on/off bad but it tried the ult on/off in it and it does the same thing. Could it possibly be something wrong with the valve.

idk what to tell u, im not to savy on mags but that was how i fixed the problem when i had a similar thing. it jsut sounds like the on off isnt cutting the air off.

Thats what i thought also, but when the ult wouldnt work it blew my mind. Thats why I am wondering if it could possibly be something with the valve.

If you have a ULT take out one shim at a time until it stops going full auto...

pull the trigger.... let it go in full auto. after a few seconds it should stop.. whenever i make changes to my valve- like new carriers or shims and such- the o-rings have to be given a chance to reseat themselves... I sometimes also get that full auto effect. just dont have paint in the marker, and dont overeact by swapping all sorts of shims and carriers until you give the marker a chance to settle in. ok, good luck
