AGD Q-Bow

I recently bought the AGD Q-bow and have been using it for about the last month and a half. Had some initial problems with the loader, but the gun works great. Being pretty unfamiliar with the TAC-One I have a few questions:

I received two additional springs with the gun, that I believe go along with the bolt assembly. The springs are different colors and I would guess have different tensions to effect the gun in someway if installed. Can someone please tell me what effects these different springs would have on the gun if installed?

I have not disassembled the gun since I have had it due to being unfamiliar with it and having not seen a good diagram of the gun itself in order to reassemble it. I have tried looking on this forum to find a better diagram and process of diassemnly and reassembly but have not come across one. Could be that I have not looked far enough, but if anyone could direct me to a link for this information, it would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to tear the gun down and then feel like a *&(^#%$ and not get it back together and working properly.

Also, is the velocity adjuster opposite from that of a Tippman A5. I used to play with an A5 and to increase velocity I would turn the adjustment screw counter clockwise to allow for more velocity. Likewise, turning it clockwise would decrease it. In playing around with the velocity adjustment, it seems that on my TAC - One I turn it clockwise to increase velocity. Is this correct?

velecioty is clock wise it goes up, you are putting more tension on the reg spring pack, and letting more psi into the chamber.

springs, dont worry about them for now, the red is the next hardest from the one installed, then the uncolored one is the hardest. if u are breaking a lot of paint and you know its not because its just old/brittle paint you will want to step up to a harder spring, you will have to take the velecioty adjuster up to get it to teh same velecioty but it makes the bolt softer on paint, dont really know exactly why i just know it does.

taking it apart? you mean just like taking the vavle out? take off the back field strip screw when there is no psi on the gun, pul the vavle out (you will have to twist the valve a little left and right cause there should be a grove in the rail that the vavle's pin sits in) if it wont come out and is getting stuck pull the trigger to the the on/off to get pushed up. mags are probably the simplest gun to get into the main workings of it and to get to them fast.

To elaborate alittle more, always pull the trigger (gun not aired up) prior to disassembly. This pushes the on/off pin into the "off" position which it tucked up into the valve, allowing it to clear the mainbody, rail, etc. If you don't do this, you risk bending your on/off pin if you try and pull on it hard enough, leading to leaks in the on/off area, and eventually having to buy a new on/off pin.

I appreciate the information, it has been quite helpful. I have another AGD Tac-One ordered and it should be here next week. I will wait until it gets here to break the Q-Bow down to clean up, just in case I mess something up I will still have a gun to play with.

Nope, not really. Unless of course you have n patience or you are just helpless hopeless. If you have a shred of patience and learning skills, a Qloader is quite manageable.

only things that you dont want to do is use low quality or really brittle paint. learning how to get it working right takes most peopel a little while and with some of the systems u break a lot of paint untill you get used to setting it up right. once you learn how to use it its pretty good only problem is that it takes a lot longer to reload the pods (a revy with one of the tubes works a lot better than the silo turd they give u)

The level 10 takes a few cases to break in though. It took about 3-4 cases for me to get it working reliably. Don't go making any major adjustments to it yet if you actually have it firing properly

The Qloader is very easy to use. The only time things can get tricky is if you want to change the amount of prewinds for faster feedrate. Mine works great right out of the box. Loading is simple too, just turn a handle making sure the feed tube is full of balls.

let me get this straight you just bought a q bow and then bought a tac one as a back up. that is awesome!!!!
