Pushing the twist lock assembly out of a rail

This may be the pointless post of the year, but if anyone else is like me and has a heck of a time getting the twist lock assembly out of the rail I just figured out a way that makes it really easy. If you take the actually pin and spring out of the piece, its the same thread as your quick strip screws, so if you take that and thread it in where the pin was, tap that on the ground a few times and its out of there.

I appoligize if I'm the only moron that had a heck of a time getting the peice out or if everyone else in the world already knows this method I just discovered it. I guess if this helps one person the post is worthwhile.
