    X-valve question.

Would it be possable to replace the regulator springs of an X-valve with the regulator spring of a classic valve?

If someone who has both a classic valve AND an x-valve could you try it and tell me if it works?

It won't work. The springs are different.

I know, thats the whole idea. Replace the reg spring with a classic one and you eliminate the slam filling, witch should (in thery) allow you to use CO2 in that valve.

Its not the regulator springs that make the retro valve work the way it does. The retro valve design is totally different from the AIR valve. The parts are not interchangeable.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
