Is the XValve as quiet as the Classic valve?

My setup at the moment is a classic valve automag wich I run on CO2. It is REALLY quiet and I LIKE it that way!!!

I just purchased a nitro bottle and I'm about to upgrade with the Xvalve and the ULT. Will that new setup change anything in the loudness of the gun?

Cause I'd rather have a slower quieter gun than a fast one.

    Thanks guys!

My personal experience when switching from a classic valve to a ReTro valve (older version of x valve) is that the noise doesn't really change much but the "tone" does. My classic valve has more of a higher-pitched noise than the ReTro. The ReTro has a lower tone IMO which could work to your advantage in the woods. To actually lessen the sound, you will have to play around with different length barrels and porting patterns to achieve the desired affect.

I know the barrel is for a lot in the noise the gun makes... at the moment I have a freak with an All American front. I think the porting of that barrel quiets the gun .
