    Remove Max-Flo On/Off

I have an older style max-flo with a slight leak through the output even when the on/off is in the closed position. I have the rebuild kit handy so I can replace the on/off oring, but for the life of me can't figure out how to remove it to get the thing disassembled to that point. Do I need to remove the whole reg from the bottle?

If its the manifold style, then you have a split ring on it that you have to remove on the end of the on/off, pull the on/off out of it, then you will see a VERY small o-ring on the inside that you will have to remove/replace. The only way I was able to get mine done was with dental picks, but i also had to replace the whole on/off system because mine had a deep gouge in it, and yes, this can be done on tank, no reason to remove it

Excellent, that's what I was thinking. Thanks!
