Wear on the Power Tube tip...

I have a tac-one marker and I finally added the right combination of shims to get the gun to be walkable with some bounce using the ULT on/off. Yesterday I put about a case of paint through, and I did my regular take down and cleansing/lubing of the marker. This is when I noticed that the Level 10 Power Tube Tip assembly had a lip of wear around it. Its a grove that encompasses the diameter of the tip, right after the Hex part of it. I just got this "groove" wear, and I was wondering if anyone else has similar wear. I want to know if it can get much worse? I think what is causing could be that I am running a higher pressure than normal. I have a max-flo tank and I usually run the input psi at about 1100psi, because its walkability is almost perfect at that psi. So perhaps the level 10 spring is too weak for this psi that it lets the bolt come too far forward? I know the gun doesn't leak when fired, and everything seats perfectly now. This is the only sign of wear I can see, the bolt looks fine. My next step would be to swap the bolt spring, and tune down the pressure, what do you all think?
