    Phase 2 problem

    Hi Guys,
    I have just bought a mag and it has a phase 2 vaulve on it.The problem is when i put air through it i fires once then it sort of keeps cycling without fireing and ideas?

    This problem is usually caused by a bad on-off top oring or a bad sear or bolt (usually not the bolt), or even possibly a bad on-off pin. If the on-off pin has been tampered with to shorten the stroke, then it should be replaced. Mags require a specific timing which is factory set. Most likely this is not the fault of your gun.

    Test the on-off top oring by firing the gun and holding the trigger in. If it stops cycling and remains quiet with no air leaking out the front, then your problem is with the sear.

    Check the tip of the sear. If it shows any signs of wear, replace it. Wear on the tip includes a rounded tip.

    The phase 2 valve back really has no effect on the operation of the mag.
    Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
