Leaking when trigger pin is hit

    Symptoms:
    - Leaking if the trigger pin is touched at all.
(Stops once the gun is fired; as long as the pin is allowed to return fully)
    - Impulsive short-strokes. (About 2 out of 10)

    Setup:

    - 2.0 Carrier with 2 shims on the lvl 10. (1.5 seemed to stick too much)
    - 3 shims on the ULE.
    - 4500 Tank. (X-valve says its rated at 3000, will 4500 present leakage?)

Can anyone please give me some ways to troubleshoot?

Remove a shim from the powertube. Depending on the characteristics of your sear, when you touch the trigger rod, it allows the bolt to creep forward just a tiny bit. This exposes the vent hole and it leaks. By removing a shim, it moves the carrier oring .01" farther up the powertube. This allows a tiny bit of bolt movement before the oring becomes exposed.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

        Thank you,

I tryed the lvl 10 with no shims and it seems to be working great!
I don't know why I was under the impression there should be at least 1 in the tube,
        but anways, thanks again!
