    Tac One help

    Unpacked my new tac one today and took it to the field. Chronoed the gun at about 285. Running full tank (HPA Crossfire tank. )

    My gun was built with a ULE trigger installed. Gun also comes standard with lvL 10 anti chop bolt.

    HERE"S THE PROBLEM

    One, I am surprised that the trigger is stillwhat seems like a long pull with this kit.

    TWO, and this is the real problem. I missed hitting several targets today because occasionally the gun would experience severe velocity loss and instead of a crisp shot I would get a shot at about 20 % of the normal velocity. If I kept pulling the trigger I may even get 2 balls lobbed out of the barrel because of the pressure loss. I checked the tank and had PLENTY iof air.

    I am also running a empire reloader hopper which works fine.

    Please help. By the way, the workmanship on this gun is incredible! and when the gun shoots right it is a real pleasure to shoot.

    Add more shims. This will shorten the trigger pull, and help prevent you from short stroking, which is probably what is causing the velocity drops.

      Is this hard and where do I find out how to do this. Do the guns come with extra shims?

          I tried that link and it does not seem to have a step by step "how to" guide to this problem.

          Does anyone know of a online step by step with pictures on how to add shims. Like I said, I just got this new gun and have never opened it up so without complete directions I am a bit apprehensive.

            Sounds like you need the next smallest carrier. The shims are for tunning when the L10 vents ie antichop.

            Carrier sizes go:
            Dot = 1/2 sizes
            Lines= 1 size

            The more lines the losser the carrier.

            I use 3 shims in all 5 of my mags...

              the ULE trigger pull kit makes the trigger pull lighter, not shorter
              and make sure you do pull the trigger all the way, or else you'll short stroke
