SIN,Redrider,K&P Customs

Now i've been hunting for someone to powdercoat my gun for about 3 months now and i'm still looking to get some work done. I am current with Red's status and from what I know he is unable to smith any guns right now. I have heard Armys story about SIN's performance on his "pink" gun. But I have yet to hear of any other storys on SIN and thier work. Are there any happy customer that had SIN do some work? Is there anyone out there that have had K&P Customs do some coating for them and were pleased or not pleased for that matter. I need all the info I can get. If you have heard from Red then let me know as well.

Here's picture of work KP Customs did for me. It's my RT Pro done in a two color fade w/black body. It looks like annodizing because he did it with translucent colors. Ken is excellent to deal with. I had everything done, barrels, sight, grip frame, body rail, etc. He made sure that he painted my marker exactly the way I wanted. He's a Mag owner as well so he knows what to coat and what not to. I would definitly recommend him. My only issue was that it did take longer for him to get the work done, but he was great at letting me know why it was late and when it would be finished.

Further questions for everyone and anyone. I have k&p's website but I have noticed that SIN's web sites are down. Anyone know why, I sure liked that newer one with flash.

I had Sin's do a Spyder body for me back in October.

It took a little longer (and I'm in Canada) than I thought, I think about a month including the mail.

It turned out ok, could have been prepped a little better (fine particles in the paint) and there was some paint that ended up in the body (but he warns of that)

It cost me $40cdn including shipping back.

But drop him an email and see what he says

Redrider Fade

I had RedRider do a fade job for me on my 'mini, beautiful work, ill have a pic up in a sec, the pic doesnt do the job justice at all!

KP Customs is a little more expensive than either Redrider or Sin. My job cost me $150. However, there was an extra charge to polish the gun because I used translucent colors and there was a $15.00 charge to strip some parts that were already annodized. I also had every part done as well as my two barrels. Both RedRider and Sin do very nice work. However, as you've heard, with Sin you sometimes don't get the best outcome. I thnk you get what you pay for. Some people would say I paid a lot but from the result you see it was worth it. Super smooth finish and no paint where it's not supposed to be.
