if you practice with it, the ult in a classic is doable. you exagerated by a factor of 33333333333333333333333333333.333 on the price there...MY MAG, Ultra Jim

just a question, why don't they sell RT valves on airgun.com, only xvalves. I know they are the same exept for ULT, but they should sell them. I like how the MicromagRT valve is designed, it kicks arse!

why don't you go surf your way over to PBN! buddy I understand that Rt valves are the old xvalves. I was wondering why they don't sell them, because they would be a much cheaper option if someone like me wanted a valve designed better than the MM/AM valve (in my opinion), but not buy the xvalve. I got my valve by trading a y-grip for it, that was alot cheaper and faster than doing the go xvalve program, or spending over 300 dollars for one. GET MY POINT?Originally posted by surfbumthe RT valves were old x-valves, if AGD sold RT valves they would be just as much as x-valves

The Retro/RTP/microRT valves are IDENTICAL to an xvalve in all dimensions and functions. The ONLY difference is that the front Valve half is Stainless.
It costs AGD near the same to make them. Stainless is actually a harder material to machine than aluminum for AGD (or anyone else). Why did AGD stop making the older valves? Because I'm sure the price difference was marginally insignificant (whether more or less) for a heavier aestetically deficient product.
So basically Don, if AGD still made the old style... you can bet your buns they would charge the same in order to make the same money.Comment

Yeah, aesthetics is the keyword; lighter, faster, although stainless steel is a much more durable material, most parts are being machined from aluminum to save money and weight. Like the ULE mainbody compared to the older steel bodies, for example.
But you can't install an ULT into a ReTro / RTP / MicroRT valves unless it's a double o-ring design, I believe they are single o-ring stock, but can be modified by Brad Nestle to accept the ULT kit.
Also, if you get your hands on a Hyperframe on/off it has a lighter pull too!BPS - Baller's Pro Shop - [email protected]- "Hellspawn" WDP Angel LED 99
