    Mounting vertical bottle adapter

    Hello,

I am awaiting a vertical bottle adapter (thanks MANN).

Before I receive it I am trying to figure out how to actually mount it.

Here is a bottom picture of my gun.

I assume I would just drill a hole in front of the trigger guard. Before I drill I wanted to make sure.

So, How do you mount a vertical bottle adapter onto the gun pictured above?

    Please be specific.

    Thanks.

    Drill and Dremel

You will have to dremel out a chunk of the frame so that the screw does not intrude on the body. Then drill a hole and attach the vertical bottle adapter. Hope that helps

it would be much easier if you had a mill

you need to drill a hole in front of the grip frame and then countersink the top so the screw sits flush with the top of the rail and doesnt hit the body

        Hole might already be there

Take the body of the rail and have a look at the other side. There might be a hole already in the rail with only a little bit left to punch out.
