want a heads up before I do this...

ok I think i have figured out my problem. I have had an of/off pin problem for a while now and i think ive found the awnser... the valve I have:

is a micromag valve that came from this emag:

    (valve in picture is different)
but i think that I have an emag pin in my valve while i'm running it on a mech mag. is this a problem? is the emag on/off pin different then the rt one? if it is then should i buy an rt pin? thanks in advance.

the emag pin is shorter...it may cause your mag to bounce.

to fix the problem, don't buy the longer pin, just buy that emag.

Yes, I had an emag pin in the emag... it's a gennerally accepted custom to put an emag on/off in an Emag.

Well, you know what to do, DM... Get another on/off pin.

don miguel: The standard on-off pin length is .750" which works for all AGD mechanical mags (even the ones using micromag valves). The Micromag bodies require a shorter pin. The emag uses a shorter .712" pin due to the way the solenoid interacts, plus the use of the quad oring. If you use the short .712" emag pin in a mechanical mag setup, you could experience random or uncontrollable full auto.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
