AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I just bought a pure energy 5000psi system. It came with a tank that was preset to 800 and an adjustable secondary reg, will that be a bad setup for my emag and what pressure do you recommend it to be set at? EK
I tried my friends Pure Energy setup with my eMag, and I had no problems at all. Although his setup comes with the PE Thor regulator, same as yours, and a 3000psi tank.
I personally like running my eMag at 700psi, of course this is a personal preference. The trigger is just to bouncy for me if I adjust it higher than that.
You can go as low as 650psi, I would not recommend going any lower. :)

It's not necessarily bad for the emag but it's completely not necassary (you can use it to change pressure but that's all) you have more of a chance to starve your gun of air during high rates of fire...

Actually the rule of thumb is to run at least 100psi above the output pressure of the next reg, although 200psi is recommended. The mag's reg regulates the pressure to 450psi, so if we follow the recommendation, 650psi would still be fine.
It is only useful to have an adjustable reg for mag's if you have a retro valve, to be able to adjust the reactivity of the trigger. :)
