68cu 3k VS 45cu 45k

Hey guys... I like to know which one holds more air and have lighter weight?

a 68cu 3k fiber wrap or 45cu 45k fiber wrap?

and what brand you recommend?

68/3k = can fire about 680 rounds in a mag
45/4.5k = can fire about 675 rounds in a mag

I would think that a 45/4.5k tank would be lighter then the 68/3k tank. But this is just guess. Anyone actually have specs on this?

Both tanks will hold roughly the same amount of air, but the 45 cu tank will be lighter and smaller. An easy rule of thumb to figure out how many shots you will get from a bottle is to use (10 * cu. in.) for 3000 psi bottles and (15 * cu. in.) for 4500 psi bottles. These are very rough estimates, but like Shingo said, around 680 shots from the 68/3000 and 675 from the 45/4500.

With few exceptions, every company produces the exact same bottle and regulator. Any bottle is going to work for you, it's just a matter of finding the cheapest. If you want to base your decision on how trustworthy and reliable a company is, the best place to look is a review site like pbreview.com; scan the reviews for any significant problems people have had with the company and decide who has the type of quality control you are looking for.

I've never had any problems with my Pure Energy bottle, but I'd be wary of one from CORE.

very very close. only problem with a 4500 tank is that most plases can not fill to a full 4500 while most places do fill to a full 3000... now i like a 45/45 better becasue it is smaller, lighter, and just feels better over all to me.

lately the only differance ive seen between tank prices is like 20 maybe 30 bucks at most (68/3ks were 150s while 68/45s were like 175 ish abot, and the prices for the 45s were pretty close) no matter what tank you get id suggest going 4500 just so you can have the ability to get that much air in.

lp is 450ish high out put is 850 is roughly, any gun can run fine on a highpsi tank

i use a 71 4500/ 68 4500 and it feel like i run out of air all time i just have to get the hang of it
i shoot about 900 to a 1000 to a bottle
