Removing ULE stock feedneck

Well my usual method of using a strap wrentch to remove feed necks has failed to remove my stock ULE feedneck any sugestion?

use the strap wrench but heat it a bit with like a heat gun or torch type thing. that always does the trick.

mine came off easily enough with a Halo being just a little too tight! no heat required
(although I'm sure your method would have been easier)

If you're getting rid of it and don't plan to use the stock feedneck then trash the thing. Use a pipe wrench.

I clamped vise grips onto the strap of my strap wrench to get a better grip and the thick rubber protects the feedneck

Drill a hole through the Feedneck walls - both of them. Sitck a long screwdriver through thte holes for leverage. Throw the feedneck away.

you can use heat..i boiled my drop that somehow got some loctite on it..had to boil the sob forever till i could get it off...

I second the screwdriver + drilling holes idea but try not to ruin the feedneck so if you ever sell it you can still keep the locking feedneck and send the body with the original feedneck.

Try drilling the holes then use the oven to heat it to around 450 and try and unscrew it while it's still hot.

I took the body off and boiled it and it came off with no problem.

I finally had some time to sit down and work on it and the heat gun with a little elbow grease did the trick
