I have a new barrel that seems to be a chopper. I use another barrel and have no problems at all, but when I put this barrel in, I get a ton of breech breaks. They are not down the barrel, but up at the breech. What would cause this? Is there something out of line, or too big, or milled wrong? Is there a way to correct this???

I guess that would help...
I was really wondering about this type problem in general rather than a specific barrel... But it is a 14" CP 1 piece with .689 bore.
The field I play at mostly has PMI/RPS Premium, which should be medium bore (.689), and I have a couple other barrels that work just fine, like an armson stealth, an armson regular, and a smart parts all american.Comment

I don't know if this aplies, but I have a barrel that when I bought it, the inside edge of the breech felt VERY sharp. It felt lie if enough pressure was put on it, it would draw blood. I went over the edge with my dremel and it was fine.
Maybe feel the edge for burrs or a rough edge.
