    Sear and Z-pin question

I've got a couple questions, first is about sears. I was wondering if a micromag sear is compatable with a regular automag rail? I put the micromag sear in the rail and it seemed kind of sloppy, but fits nicely in the micromag. Second, is the Z-pin in the valve really neccesary? The one in my valve fell out. When it was in the rail, it was never actually holding the valve in tight anyway. Do I need to replace it or am I fine without it?
    Thanks

the purpose of the zpin is to keep your valve in place when putting it on/taking it off.its keeps everything lined up.but other than that is isnt really needed.
which brings me to my own question.why could a ule body be used on a clasic rt?
the zpin wont reach and if anything it can be lengthened.and the hole can be widened o accomodate the banjo.dontg see why it wouldnt work but the classic rt still looks amazing.

Ok thanks. Now the sear question

      - Is there supposed to be a spacer on a clasic sear? There is a lot of side to side wobble on my sear and rail. It looks as if I could add a spacer one each side to cut down the slop. Anybody?

The z-pin keeps the back half of the valve from unscrewing from the front half when you are shooting.

The micro-mag sears are the same as the classic mag sears.

There aren't any spacers on a classic mag sear. The rail has guides that hold the sear in place. there is plenty of slack, but there shouldn't be too much. If you experience a lot of slack, you can add a shim or two as long as it doesn't interfere with the action of the sear. Any reduction in the side to side slop will make your trigger action more crisp.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
