Broken LVL10 Spring What The Heck!?!?!

So I was playing today with my Emag, I played one game with one hopper with no problems I went to start the next game and my bolt was jammed. When I took the valve and bolt out I found that the LVL10 spring for the bolt snapped right in half and jammed the bolt!!!
I was using the red spring, I have never heard of anyone else having this problem on AO.
Anyone have any ideas why this might have happened.

how long have you had the spring? it could be that it was that springs time to go. after 30,000 shots its about time to change springs.

ive broken a few med. springs before. it happens, just replace it.

Its called metal fatigue... If you bend a paperclip back and forth it will eventually snap. Same goes with springs or anything else made out of metal that flexes alot. Aircraft parts get replaced on a regular basis because of this, and a spring is sort of a moving part so it wears.

I am not sure the total shot count b/c I bought the Emag used and I have since programed it to the Xmod, but 30K sound about right.
I am aware of metal fatigue but I have never heard anyone talk about a bolt spring breaking on AO before, it just took me buy surprise.
Right now I have the longest spring in there just so I could keep playing yesterday but I will order a new red one to replace it.
